Through a Racial Equity and Justice Conservation Cooperative Agreement with the Natural Resource & Conservation Service, Black in Appalachia is working to make sure Black producers and landowners in Claiborne, Cocke, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, Sevier counties in Tennessee, as well as Lee, Russell, Scott, and Washington counties of Virginia, have access to available opportunities & resources.
